Okay,since it's my pick I'll start off the reviews...
I liked this book. I love the apple tree. I'm not sure who my favorite character is...I like them all. But, I really liked Evanelle. I think I would like her gift the most, although they all have really good gifts...good food, good hair, gift giving....what else do you need?
I liked this book a lot. Thanks Linda for picking it! I thought it was interesting that there was no "language" until David showed up. It changed the whole mood and tone. Candy should be happy there was a love scene in a garden--too bad it wasn't involving ironing. I really liked the way Bay's dream came true--it sounds like she may have eaten an apple without telling anyone--unless that is HER gift.
I thought this was a wonderful, magical and enchanting book. The apple tree was my favorite character.
I enjoyed reading this book. I didn't like the apple tree and I would not have eaten one. My favorite part of the book - Waverley Kitchen Journal. I need food with bachelor's buttons in it on a regular basis. But I would like to eat something with rose geranium in it. I think I will go google a recipe now.
It was enjoyable. A little predicable. The men were completely unrealistic, oh except for David. JERK! I did enjoy the women and how quirky they were! It made me think of some of my friends! LOVE YOU ALL!
PS there was something hot in the garden so will that meet all the requirements Candy?? She left burn marks!
I too enjoyed the book. I felt sorry for the women that had to use sex to keep their men, or atleast thought they had to. That is just way toooo much pressure. It was a bit predictable, but I like happy endings, remember, I tend to read the ending, just to make sure it turns out the way I think it should. Good pick Linda!
Okay, Candy would like to set the record straight. Creative ironing scenes are in; garden love scenes, not so much. Burn marks. I am so sure. Ya'll scare me sometimes.
Loved the book though. Her magical elements were, well, magical.
What I learned this month: Lavender bread is YUMMY.
Loved this book, for me it was a "stay up till 1am" book. I had a hard time putting it down. My favorite character was Evanelle, I would love to have her "gift".
